This formula work fine for positive range but I am quite surprised to what is happening when you apply this formula to negative armour (after several shred of armour, with 15 stacks → -1500 negative armour for monsters for example). It becomes positive at some points, meaning negative resistance should give some damage reduction to the monsters.
Can you indicate me how the game calculates physical damage reduction for negative armour value ? Is it antisymetrical between positive and negative armour value ? (meaning lets say 1000 armour giving 40% dmg reduction implies -1000 armour value giving 40% more dmg taken)
The Rogue can stack it very high, certainly. But even at “infinite” stacks it caps out at 85% more phys damage & ~60% more non-phys damage taken. And as you can see from the link above, the diminishing returns is pretty hard after ~130 stacks (= -13,000k armour = -80% phys damage reduction). It’s nice to have for hit builds, certainly, but you don’t want to go balls to the wall for it & miss out on lots of other stuff.
