So how does exactly monolith completion works i have 3/20 but i still got no clue how do you complete monoliths? and my second question is how do you unlock empowered timelines?
At the top of the screen showing your echo web you will see a progress bar that shows your current tomeline stability. Each echo you complete without dying adds stability and increases the progress bar.
There are 3 milestones along this progress bar that mark the points at which you unlock quest echoes. The quest echoes are also listed on the left side of this screen. Each quest echo requires a minimum stability to unlock it and they must be completed in the listed order.
When have completed all 3 quest echoes (the third of which will always be the tomeline boss) you unlock a new timeline. Which one you open can, in some instances, be influenced by choices you make in the e quest echoes. If no such choice is present, you will unlock the next lowest level timeline.
As for empowered timeliness, these are unlocked by completing all 3 level 90 timelines.
ah i see so i gotta complete the stability thing in every new area? cuz for example i did 3 times the black sun timeline but it didnt count towards monolith completion
Yes. For every timeline you must gain enough stability to complete all three quest echoes in order to advance to the next timeline.
I’m not sure I’m understanding this part correctly. Are you saying that you defeated the timeline boss (Rahyeh) three times and are unable to move on to the next timeline? Or are you saying that three times you completed echoes and did not gain stability? Or, perhaps, did quest echoes and gained no stability?
Each of those possibilities would have a different explanation. If you beat the boss and were unable to advance you may be experiencing a bug and should report it in the Bug Reports section of the forum (it would likely be wise to include your log file if you still have it).
If you completed three echoes and gained no stability this may, or may not be, a bug. Each echo, when you first approach it, lists a reward when you mouse over it. This reward includes the stability gain and whatever item(s) are shown as a guaranteed reward. That said, if you die in the echo, these rewards are forfeit. You can repeat the echo in order to move past it, but if you die in it the first time the rewards are lost forever (for that one echo). This will not impact the rewards for subsequent echoes. You can tell if this is the case by looking at the echo on the echo web. If you have lost rewards, the guaranteed reward icon will not be present (i.e. an item icon in a circle placed at the middle of the echo “island”).
If you mean you did a quest echo and got no stability, this is intended. Quest echoes reward no stability, only the opportunity to move on to the next quest echo (assuming you have enough timeline stability).
I thought that maybe it doesnt matter wich monolith you complete as long you just complete 20 times any so dont worry you answered on my question already and i understand now
I see. I misunderstood entirely.
Yes, the 3/20 is showing how many unique timelines you have completed of the 10 basic and 10 empowered.
yeah no worries btw wanted ask something off-topic is rune of creation super rare or wut? becuz it reminds me a mirorr of kalandra from PoE and i still havent droped it from my 15k hours in PoE but i did just drop rune of creation so im just curious
Yes, it’s supposed to be rare.
but im guessing its not nearly as rare as an actual mirror drop in path of exile
No. I think I’ve found one but I’ve never found a mirror in many thousands of hours in PoE.
It is the Mirror but it drops much more often than in PoE. You will see some, don’t worry. And can use them too
Not quite a mirror since in POE you can make unlimited copies of a base item.
