Need help with my build

Hello, everyone. I was wondering if I could get some feedback from some experienced players on making my build better so that I can push higher corruption levels - I would love to be farming corruption at 1k and I would definitely like to take on uber aberroth at some point as I know the damage potential with the sabertooth is there (for my weapons, I am currently running 1lp Apogee of Frozen Light, I have two 2lp versons, but again, I can’t afford the exalted items I need to slam them yet, so my sabertooths dmg will go up significantly if I can get lucky enough on my slams). I am currently following a build guide made by Action RPG. The build is Cold Sabertooth. Currently, my problem isn’t damage as my sabertooth is able to one-shot most elites and even bosses like Lagon and Orobyss (current corruption is somewhere around 225ish) and my clear speed is actually pretty great for where I am at. Just as an fyi, I was tagging along with some other players at 1k corruption running troves and my sabertooth was actually able to kill some of the trash mobs with no problem, so I know the build is viable if I can make my character survive.

Here is a link to the build guide I am following, which I have several questions about: https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/Bae5KM7B
Here is a link to the YouTube video for the build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdumDIgSuDs

My first question is how on earth is he getting so much HP? The build guide is saying his HP is sitting at 3664, while in the video his character is running around with 3923 HP. I just don’t see/understand where all the health is coming from. I know that one of my rings is 0lp, so I am not getting the extra health and health regen that he has (I have the ring, but I can’t afford the exalted item I need to slam my 2lp phantom grip that I have in my stash). I am also missing the health and health regen on my relic because it is only 1lp, and I went with +4 to my sabertooth so that it does more dmg etc…, as can be seen on my character. So I know I am missing out on some health, but I don’t see how getting hp on those items is going to magically give me another 1500 hp!
The next problem I am having with the build guide is that it shows he has his resistances over maxed, and I just don’t understand how he is getting so much resistance with the gear, affixes, and blessings he is using on his build - even if he did happen to get perfect rolls on his resistance affixes. To get my resistances to where they are at now, I have had to get all the blessings that significantly add to specific resistances, while also supplementing with idols to get my resistances to where they are now. To top it off, if I switch to using Evolution’s end, even if I get a perfect roll and get the +15% to all resistances my cold resistance and necrotic resistance will be well below the 75% threshold, so I am not sure how I will be able to implement that amulet into my build to get the extra skill points (if you look at the maxroll build guide for cold sabertooth, they are actually using the same amulet I am, just with different legendary affixes since it’s a weaver item and I can’t control what affixes I get from it).
I am not really sure what else to say, so feel free to ask any questions if I left anything important out. I really don’t want to switch my build to something like bear or frogger beastmaster as I am having fun with the sabertooth, and I just think it’s a really cool pet to have. Maybe I am just stupid and missing obvious stuff? I really don’t know, but I appreciate any and all help that you guys/gals can offer me to make my character survive at higher corruption levels (I am sure I could push my corruption into the 300 range as it stands now, but that’s a long ways from running 1k corruption to be sure.) Oh, and if it wasn’t obvious from what I’ve written, I am in the merchants guild faction, if that even matters.

In LETools if you hover over the stat in the character General tab (health is top right) it gives you a full breakdown of where all the health is coming from and the exact gear, passive, skill that’s giving it. Your’s is about half the size of his so you’ve still got a lot of room to add in health.

gotta be just missing pieces but that belt he’s got has double health and % which makes a huge difference when added on with all the other items that CAIUSMARTIUS is mentioning.

About the belt, I tried to get double health but julra was not being kind to me and gave me the minion dmg instead of hybrid health. I will have to farm for another 2lp Brewmaster Buckle and try again with the double health. Any other suggestions on increasing my survivability besides the missing health?

What if you slam that T7 boot you got onto something like foot of the mountain? That’ll give you all stats and more armor/def/life/resistances etc.

Grip is pretty good but very offensive, what about something like the crab ring with LP to boost other stuff to offset it?

Here’s my frog build that I was doing for the season, haven’t killed Uber yet but can clear 700corruption. Kind of stopped playing it and was leveling paladin.

I will definitely look into your suggestions about the boots and ring. Thanks!

The guide has 11 places with flat Health while yours has 5 places.
Same with percentile health, 8 in the guide, 6 on yours.

Makes a massive difference.

To see it hover over the health in the guide-link, you can see a tooltip which states exactly where everything comes from.

Mostly from the idols as well.

Same thing there, hovering over the tooltip provides every location it comes from.

Also the guide you sent has not maxed res, but they’re close and sufficing.

Yes, exactly what the guide provides.

Well, it shows cold, lightning and poison to be at 66% with the guide, as well as void at 74%. Actually the guide works with 16% all res, the range is 13%-20%. Grinding that to max is worthwhile, it’s a total of 13% res which you gain efficiently, and a bit of extra for the others working against shred.

Your res is overcapped by quite a bit, so making sure to reduce the respective sources in favor of alternative Affixes (and shifting them around between the items they’re rolled on) is also an option.

Boot base. Citdael boots provide 130 armor you don’t have as well as making you crit immune completely.

That’s the major place you’ll easily gain defenses.

Besides that 2 LP Julra’s possession and getting a good Affix on it.
Fixing up both your phantom Grips, 1 LP ones shouldn’t be hard to get. You’re MG as well so buy em and any T7 health ring.
Fixing up the idols to be more similar to those provided in the guide.

That’s all the primary places, then it’s end-game min-max.

On the build guide, you can choose min/average/max. If you click max, his resistances are 97%, 102%, 102%, 110%, 126%, 84%, and 92%. That’s what I was looking at since his video is showing him on the max setting, which I assume is closest to what he is actually running.

Likely. It’s going to take a good amount of farming to achieve that. Loads of repetition, failed crafts and a load of Gold if the respective bases are available on the market.

With the setup there and crafting it from bases on the market I’ll say… 600mil to 1bil for the same end-result.
Doable in a week with market knowledge or in 5 months without.

That’s depressing.

I’m playing my own (planned before froggy boost) hybrid build with sabertooth n frogs
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/oXV3YmDQ
Pushed to 1234 but I prefer 1000 as more profitable n less risky difficulty
Idea was: frog dies - apogee works. Result - frogs are not just a cat’s food
Skill rotation:
Jump-scream-evade-cat running in circles totem-cat

Hey this looks pretty interesting, thanks for that planner! I’ve never tried sabertooth or raptor and mainly did wolves but the frog ancestral was too good to pass up.

Have you beat Uberoth with this build?

Never tried and don’t want to
