Need help with improving this Bleed Bladedancer build

Hello, this is my very first build in last epoch. Spent dozens of hours playing and trying different things, but this character is still too weak. Horrible damage and low survival on Corruption 100 monolith. Any ideas to make the build viable for end-game contents?

It looks like some of your choices may be at odds with one another. You take the Apostacy passive for example in the bladedancer tree which converts dodge chance to glancing blow but also spend five points in the falconer’s passive Outlander’s Tenacity which, while adding some dodge rating, is really a bonus for characters that can still dodge because of the way it provides an increased endurance threshold conditionally to buffer against taking a hit. Choices like this you may want to rethink to get the most out of each one.

With skills you’ve gone mostly for high bleed chance and have found some gear which can compliment that choice like your axe but also seem to have neglected making use of ‘more’ damage multipliers. Shift looks like one of the only places you’re finding this multiplier with points in passives like Deadly Ambush, points I think you’ll see become a lot more effective when paired with similar passives elsewhere like Coated Blades in the rogue starter tree or Shadow Fang on synchronized strike. These bonuses will also multiply the bleed damage you may be dealing if I remember correctly so be sure to consider where they can find the best use.

For defense, if you are going to stick with dual wield, Apostacy and glancing blow, you may see things improve at a higher armor value as you will be tanking hits instead of dodging them. At currently 18% mitigation it’s not lending a ton of help with all those hits you take.

All this aside though, it looks to me you’ll quickly catch on and be able to customize powerful combinations if you keep using the npc to respec anything you’re curious about so don’t hesitate there and have fun
