Looking at some of the replies makes me realise some of you dont even know what a barbarian class is. Jesus Christ.
I mean, it means a bunch of different things to people throughout history, so why should it be any different for players?
If it’s not Arnold, it’s not a real barbarian. Sorry, Jason.
Jokes aside - people usually want a diablo-barbarian clone character. Nothing wrong with it, it’s a fun class.
Personally, I think the Primalist has the ingredients to make a nice Barbarian.
My no-shapeshift druid has many similarities to my D&D storm herald barbarian, and I consider the character as such.
I mean, Primalist already has the “HU!” shout down, that’s an elemental part of the class, right?
Yes, Primalist is a lot like D2 Barbarian, with some primal spirits mixed in.
Personally, it fits the “wild fighter” type enough to not want that carbon-copy of D2 in the game to compete with it. Ironically, the Druid & Barbarian in D2 were closely connected and are masteries of the same base class in LE, so that’s thematically on point.
