Necromancer passive Veins of Malice bug

I have picked up the Veins of Malice skill for the big haste buff it grans the minion army. The wording of the skill states it will proc on “Whenever you cast a SPELL ‘…’”.

From this wording I would deduct it should work on all "spell’ tags. So a minion tagged with ‘spell’ should proc this as well? It doesn’t as of yet.

It does work with spells like Dreadshade.

No, minion summoning skills aren’t spells.

Good to know and thanks for answering. I got confused by the wording on the skill text because it says all spells specificly
