I’ve played Necro, and I personly don’t like how squishy the minions are.. BM just stays with you and are harder to kill.. IMO..

I have a similar experience. I play zoo necro and Frog beast master. Frogs resummon automatically, thus are way better. Also faster.
Supposely the op Falconer is the best dam dealer. I play them all. They each play diff even in BM or necro theres more then 1 way to play. Supposedly for BM the lightening is op. Im not into meta or following guides. Just play what I want to try. I dont really like end game. I keep trying diff alts. My idea of fun.

I’m a little bias with BM. While I enjoy a nice necro zoo, I enjoy using companions like the wolf, raptor and such. I personally find myself surviving much better on Primalist. You even have access to healing for yourself or companions. I’ve played Primalist much more than necro because it just fits my style a bit more, naturally.
Keep trying different stuff out and see what clicks.
