My main 2 issue in the game: exp rate and character planning (constructive feedback)

The game seems fun and having 15 different class with multiple possible builds on the paper makes this very interesting.

Although I’ve two main issues:
1- Exp rate too low.
After having done the story I was around lvl 50+, now the char max lvl is 100.
So what shall I do? Grind Monolith to lvl … nice but doing for almost 50 lvl (I say almost because now I’m lvl 63 and I did not have dropped any single key from the chest so the Arena still not be an option)

This unfortunately for me make the game boring and repetitive without the need.
I do not mind to do the same content multiple time trying to find good objects or improving the gear, but doing the same content (monlith) for dozens of hours to just level up the character for me is definately boring…

Note that I did not create any char if not the first (beastmaster), but I’m just losing interest in the game because since 3 days I’m just doing the same content with the same char just trying to level it up.

If it is me alone, probably the game is not good for me (I abandoned other similar game for the same reason after playing them a while), but I expect that this could be a common issue.

2- Character planning/development aka “lack of in game build planner and very frustrating skill/passive respec system”
I already suggested that for me you should be able to put all the point you’ve and remove them freely just with a final confirm button - without that you put points 1 by 1 and if you do a mistake and find later on - i.e. you put 1 points more in a low level skill… you’ve to respec 1 by 1 and paying again.

That’s again very frustrating.

Bottomline I believe that people like diversity, experimenting builds and this game does not allow it due to those two issue

On your point re exp rate, I’ll just say two things:

  1. the story campaign isn’t finished; and

  2. there will be more endgame options.

I agree that if the final game’s exp curve is as it currently is, then that would be pretty awkward. But given the two points above, I won’t worry too much about it.

Didn’t they already say that reaching lvl 100 is kind of an achivement after release like in early PoE days? Maybe mix up something here but afaik we get far more XP now then after release.

Hmm. I didnt think OP was talking about getting to level 100. I thought his point was more about the level curve when you progress to different content in the current game. And he’s saying that ending the story around level 50 feels too early? because the only thing left to do is grind monolith (and maybe arena if hes lucky) for the next 50 levels.

About the exp, I hope that it will not be worse than this after release.
First char I usually do the story because it is new and it is fun, but after that I try to reach max level asap so to then start to play with the char, builds, drop equip and so on…
So if it takes too much to reach max level for me all this time is just lost.
