The gear is entirely stuff I picked up off the floor aside from the rings, where I crafted the two mana cost reductions in case I needed it for shuriken (and I never maxed out the mana reduction node so the second one was completely irrelevant). Umbral Blades with poison & the poison explosions is extremely good for racking up stacks - the big advantages it has compared to Flurry or Shuriken are the much longer range to hit targets with, the ability to get huge hits from spawned shadows, and the ability to benefit from Crimson Shroud as a giant source of extra ‘poison’ chance. I like the explosion setup over the recalled blades more, I find I get hits more reliably with it and it’s a 33% damage buff in that it only takes 3 throws instead of 4 to get all the hits in. Overall very fun, if a bit finicky to get targeting working. I might try another build that focuses on Bladestorm & using it as a setup skill for single targets while using Flurry as a main attacker, but I really like this version for Umbral Blades as the main poison skill.
Grats.
How went the fight vs Majasa and how was the single target damage vs tanky monsters?
Can you give any numbers like DOT dmg ticks on enemies?

Harder against mobs than bosses due to the fact targeting is unintuitive, you have to aim a bit ahead of their feet. Against bosses it did insane damage, I’d eyeball it as slightly faster than my old poison flurry build. This character I don’t have dot ticks for, but a more geared chara I switched over got 800k ticks. That said, with flurry as the main attack and Bladestorm as support, I got 1.5 mil ticks, so that’s definitely the better option.
