After 80 hours I’m fed up with the game. I hope that the game will still be worked on a lot and I would be happy for the developers if it is still a success. The game wants to be a path of exile where it doesn’t come close. I think if path of exile2 and diablo 4 are released the game is dead here
I can read that you seem to be frustrated, and valueable feedback from frustrated people can be very helpful, but you did not give any clue here why you are “fed up”.
First of all i disagree
This game has not much in common with PoE, except some of the general traits of an aRPG. This game is way closer to D2, Grim Dawn and Titan Quest.
Now back to your “feedback”.
Try to tell us/or the devs what bothers you. Maybe there can be something learned form it, perhaps even changed in the future. Or maybe for some things we can help you understand the game better and might see some things a little bit differently.
Let out all your frustration, but keep it civil please. Alot of people here in the LE forum are looking forward to healthy discussions, even if we will not agree on everything we still cna try to have some arguments.
I didn’t mean to be rude, I’m not frustrated. the craft system is broken too often the items are destroyed and you have to collect stones for a long time for a new attempt that ends in grind game. i don’t like the behavior of the objects. I haven’t found an item in 80 hours that is really useful. It is always given values that are not good for my class. the balance is also not good with my nekro, I put everything away with other classes, I just die or you need other items that I can’t find because the wrong values are always on the item. the end game is boring, maybe a matter of taste maybe the game something like a paragon system from diablo3 would do well. I didn’t want to be angry and I also hope that in 1 year or more I can play a good game I would wish you so.

It*s ok to be frustrated or demotivated or what ever you wanna call it. The forum is a place to talk about this kind of stuff.
Once you can reliably run MoF affix shards will come in masses, you can’t even spend them all. (except some of the very very rares ones)
I think devs mentioned there might be a bug with some glyphs regarding the success chance, they wanted to further investigate that. But generally i think, like a lot of other people, you do remember the “bad” or “failed” attempts more than the actual successful ones.
Yes, that’s how many people feel, the overflow with items can be overwhleming and some times you don’t even bother looking at all items. Especially since a good blue item might be even better than a yellow one. But inspecting every single item can be tedious.
Loot Filter will come sooner or later and will most likely adress alot of concerns about this kind of stuff.
While i wouldn’t say the game is perfectly balanced, every class is 100% viable with various different build approaches. Acolyte in general might have a harder time surving in some cases, depending on your build. Especially because minion builds( i assume you playing necromancer as a minion build?) use alot of affis slots for minion stuff and not defensive stuff.
I am not sure how experienced you are(with your said 80 hours) with the more intricate game mechanics. Protections, Glancing Blow, Crit Avoidance all that kind of stuff. Would you mind sharing an outline of your build and core stats? Mybe we can help you get your build going a little bit better and all of the sudden farming for new items can get fun again if your build runs more smoothly.
The new endgame they introduced with 0.7.9 is already a big improvement IMO. Not sure how much you played that, but you have something to “farm” for there, the Blessings. Not quite the same as a Paragon-esq system, but still something for long term goals and progression.
Arena can get boring fast, i don’t like that mode at all too.

EDIT: Especially since i am guessing you are coming from a PoE background, you might think you know alot about some game mechanics, that might be totally different here. I did the same mistakes on some mechanics. Especially alot of the defensive mechanics. And defense is king in this game, by a looong stretch

Ok, not sure why you comapred this game to PoE then, this is waaay closer to Grim Dawn than PoE.
No there is currently no function for that. Outline some of your stats. Character level, the 5 skills you are specced into, some core stats(glancing blow, crit avoidance, health, protections) what form of sustain are you using? ward, hp regen, leech?

At least you give your feeling now and not when game is released, it could help better now than later, i find your intention honorable even if it is little bit confusing for some people.
Maybe there’s indeed a bug on crafting. The amount of 90% success chance that went wrong is insanely higher than the number might suggest. I know RNG and so on but still…
Also playing this game since about 80 hours, still kind of fun for a Beta.
I really like the versatility of skills/passives/masterys. You can play each in different varients.
But yes, lot of things still not really clear and broken, monoliths and arena are fine for beta now. Sure, LE will have a super tough time competing with PoE 2, D4.
But as far as I noticed, devs are listening to people so far, keep that on!
Without future lootfilter, clear tooltips, skill/mechanic/crafting balancing, other endgame than “rifts”/arena they might have a chance.
But yes, for Beta so far I like it.
FYI @all, @Psylive did contact me and we did discuss some stuff private in german. Was alot easier for him that way.
I think i already helped him alot and we will continue trying to advance his characters progress.
In summary if you are intersted. He underestimated some of the defensive mechanics. And also did use some sub-optimal skill synergies.
I evaluated the build, gave him some suggestions and i think he try to implement those today and then lets see how far he will come.
Maybe he can give us an update on his progress later down the line, when he feels happy with his char again.
@Heavyhelped me a lot with the mechanics of the game yesterday. What I am missing, however, is a sense of achievement, the feeling of further improving my character. I only notice my character gets better with a level up because 95% of the items I find I don’t need, I don’t feel any improvement

Ich merke nur mein charakter wird besser durch ein level up weil 95% der items die ich finde brauche ich nicht ich spüre keine verbesserung
That’s how the entire genre works though. Once you’ve got a moderate level of gear, most of what drops is going to be crap.
