Well, I guess you can let your insurance handle stuff like “rubberbanding caused your pc to overheat and burn down the entire road you live”. Wait? This didnt happen? Nobody got hurt because of the rubberbanding? No house burned down because of a character rollback?
You don’t even have an insurance for your 35€ video game? What a weird time we live in.
But thankfully you have all that for your car. And everytime a new version of your car is released, you imminently get the updated version delivered to you for free. No?
Hm… I get the feeling that comparing video games to cars is not really working… At least in my mind. I guess it’s a me problem then, right?
Best way to look at it is that other than uniques, there is no “loot” in LE. The things that drop from enemies are not loot in the true sense, they are crafting bases and crafting ingredients.
As for the loot filter… since it has no way of adding a rule that specifies a minimum Forging Potential, I declare it unfit for purpose.
Your are wrong, software development have much way more quality control methodologies. You just don’t understand complexity coz u see it from gamer side. With infinite possibilities comes infinite errors. In reality you have physics law, they doesn’t work for software sorry
I know you don’t like me and I don’t care, but nothing I ever did or said was remotely along the lines of “This or that is fact END OF STORY”.
I am the first person who likes to discuss and disagree with people but I never shut other people’s opinions down or claim that my opinion is superior.
I am really not what you are trying to achieve here
You can disagree with me all you want, but please show me some examples of me being remotely like you claim I am.
I have no idea why you think i dont like you?, i dont know you to not like you, however when it comes to last epoch and people’s opinions on things about it, you are sometimes rather blinkered, i am not going through the forum to find you examples of this.
Probably because this is not the first time you try to tease or provoke?
I don’t evne know what that means so I can’t agree nor disagree
I absolutely get, that many people don’t like my opinions, because I do have very specific opinions about a lot of subjects and they are often polarising.
But what you quoted and said that I am like that is simply not true.
Took me awhile to get used to you Heavy. You state your opinions as though they are facts (in your defense, often the things you state are facts). For most topics I’d say you are much more settled in your opinions and the conversation from you often seems to be explaining to someone why they are wrong (as is pretty typical for all of us). I believe this is what Sanctuarys_Reaper means by “blinkered”, but I may be wrong.
More observations;
You are knowledgeable about LE.
You have played the game a tremendous amount.
You are emotionally invested in the game (in most fans of a game, this is usually good and bad, imo). I enjoy all the sparring you and Llama8 do.
Most insurance doesn’t cover “your car was made like shit, and just broke down for no reason”. But, I’m sure if you called to make a claim, you’d just be told to be patient, and that you should expect things like this.
I think that part of that is because he’s German. Their conversational style can often be significantly more blunt, forthright and authoritative than a native English speaker. My last boss was Austrian and before I met her, I (& everybody else in my team) found her emails to be a lot more authoritarian than any other emails I ever had in ~20 odd years of work.
Some of them are, certainly.
I’m surprised Heavy didn’t google “blinkered” though.
Oh, so a car is just like software then. Awesome, I hadn’t realised that, thanks for clearing it up…
