Multiplayer (Party)

My wife and I have lasted the longest in this season than any before (not saying much, but still cool). I’ trying to figure out if what we’re experiencing it expected/or if I’m mistaken.

As far as Partying is concerned, while they definitely have improved Mono progression (a few seasons ago), the Weavers/Prophecies are (still) party leader/host only? So, the party members, in addition to not getting the Echo’s reward (they get a prompt for something else), they also cannot get anything from their Weaver Tree/progress Prophecies?

Thanks for your time!

I think if the host has things like monsters from dungeons or more exiles etc they spawn for you guys both but yeah party still needs a ton of work!

I think the rewards is so that say you got some hardcore player with a mega imprint item and then that dropped as your reward it would nullify the need for resonance (even though currently imprints dont work) same with prophecies as only 1 person would need favour but I think off memory you can gift prophecy loot to each other when it drops and you’re in party because I ran a few newbies through end of last season, got item, slammed it then gifted it to them to help level faster as it was end of season.

I would love them to do work on multi or add special things unique to multi. I love playing in groups with friends and all you really get is harder monsters… and occassional resonance :frowning:

No they are not. If that is what you experienced that is definitely unintended or a bug.

Completing Woven Echoes should reward a point for everybody in the party that hasn’t done it before.
And prophecies also trigger if a teammates kills the wnated mobs on their own, as long as you are roughly close enough to them (the range is very generous IIRC).

Just as a FYI, why this is the way it is. If The guests would always get the same reward as the Host, this would lead to some crazy FULL Party stacking Monolith preperation runs and would massively increase the gap between coordinated party play and solo player or random party play.

I could even see RMT stuff happening with that, if the host prepares desired echo rewards and then you grind like 10, 20, 30 echoes in a row with the desired rewards.

Hello and welcome back!

I think it would take a large undertaking to have two different players share things, given the RNG of various things currently. However, this doesn’t warrant not sharing your feedback, which I’ll be happy to. To Heavy’s point, it is something we will have to keep in mind to avoid any sort of exploitation.

Thanks for the information, everyone. I wasn’t thinking of it leading to exploitation, as if the leader & members all honor their own Weaver tree selections and get their own rewards it should be fine…maybe make drops from Echo’s awarded in this manner as player bound…just a thought.

Thanks again!
