With multiplayer somewhat on the horizon, I wanted to start discussion of what class/build combinations would be good for a 3-4 man setup.
My thoughts are that there will probably be an AoE based mono/trash clear, a boss killer, and some combination of a healer, a paladin (holy aura), and a mage (cast focus on allies for easy mana sustain).
The single target build would likely be a DoT build or possibly a Blademaster, and the AoE would likely be hammerdin as it also covers having holy aura (though specced less for defense in this case).
Does anyone have any different thoughts of the overall comp or suggestions for the actual AoE/Single target characters? For example, a fun AoE carry could be a lightning blast mage (sorc or blademaster) for big chains across the next two screens.
If you want to burn the servers, just use wraiths and the zombie node that summons zombies if your minions die… Easily have up to 200 minions if you run the drain life nodes that target minions and give you mana back.
Just one Player with 15 Skeletals is enough to nuke FPS from 60+ or 100+ to single digits vs some mob types, like these " Ice Wave Bird / Bats " (cant rember name now) and few others.
Necro was fun but this problem happened pretty often and got sick of it after some days, so i rerolled to a Mage and got constant ~60 now.
They really need to do something about that, or multiplayer could be unplayable.
