Moving beam attacks need some serious work

I have found that moving beam attacks such as Husk of Elder Pannion or Heart of the Titan hit me when I am not even close. Like dead center in between 2 beams. I don’t know if it’s a performance issue with my PC, as the game is pretty resource intensive for my computer as is (playing on a laptop) but I find that I don’t have a point where I feel safe from these mechanics because I will die to them from over a character height distance away.

That is probably delay from the communication between the server and your PC. Your PC is rendering the beams in one place but the server is some fraction of a second ahead. So you’re being hit with them even when your PC isn’t rendering it in the proper place.
It’s also possible that there’s an issue with the hitbox, although the first one is more likely.
