More uses for gold please

By endgame the only uses for gold are the gambler and shattering runes. You can get several thousand each monolith run and do the runs in minutes. So you often find yourself with gold to spare, so I would be glad if there were more gold-sinks.

For one thing, I question why only runes of shattering are there but you cannot buy the other runes/ the glyphs, as those are equally as useful for endgame as the shattering rune(they should probably have their own tab in the shop as well)

Using gold to buy random idols would also be useful. Same would be true for a large amount of gold to get a random unique(as people shop target farm uniques anyways).

There could likely be a lot of other ideas that would suffice as gold-sinks. But these are the ones I have came up with.

They are adding an auction house/marketplace later down the line which will be called the Bazaar which yo u can use your gold for.

That is likely to be under massive inflation.

It has to be seen what devs will exactly do with the AH/Bazaar, but if they still want to make gold valuable(which was one of their general economy mindsets a long time ago), there could be alot of stuff for gold.

Stash Stabs already were a good addition, those get really really expensive if oyu have dozens of them.

Besides a possible AH/Bazaar they could add gold sinks for fast alt char progression(buy story rewards, fast exp gain etc)

Depending on what they all add as gold sink a possible death penalty could also be gold loss, so gold bcomes even more important.

It’s hard to tell at this point were the economy is going, but i hope they can manage to make gold valuable.

Once multiplayer comes in, we can sell carries of Rahyeh for everyone complaining about the fight. :money_mouth_face:

Not if when you die you get sent back to town. We don’t know how they will handle deaths in parties. Can the other players res you like a Primalist can res their pets?

Another gold sync i believe would be of value is the ability to unfracture a craft, but everything stays the same when that fracture happened. Percentages of chance, the tiers, etc.

The amount of gold required though, i am not sure if it should be a flat rate or percentage based amount. I do strongly believe however the amount should scale off of three things; player level, item level, and the tiers already on it. The amount gold to do this should be pretty steep but worth it. Should cost enough really that you could only do this speraticlly.

How are you getting so much gold? I still can’t afford all the stash tabs I want to get.

Higher monoliths & arena gets you a decent amount of gold.

Before arena/monoliths you can fill your inventory with loot go to town via portal rinse and repeat…profit!

Gold drops at much igher values at higher MoF(like 90 and 100 Timelines) from chest and especially from altars, the gold altars give a few thousand gold.

That REALLY isn’t worth the effort. The vast majority of items sell for less than 100 gold, if not less than 50.

I assume most got their gold from Arena which I never really got into. I am only on the 68 area in monolith.

Since that this game is buy to play they should give a few MTX available for purchase with gold …

I like this idea, maybe not too many, but there could be a few hand picked ones that are really really expensive.

If they are too cheap everybody will have them which makes them kinda uninteresting.

But if they are very very expensive it’s a goal you can work towards.
