Hi, I really enjoy this game that i quit PoE even before i got my 3rd challenge reward this league. I want to support it more but i live in Turkey that the Euro/Dollar based prices are out of my spending range. If there were more supporter packs in Steam with Localized Prices i’d really purchase the highest one i could afford.
I know this may seem like begging for discounts or some may think it is unfair to them, but think like this. I will not be able to purchase a higher tier supporter pack this way meaning i won’t be able to support this game any further, but i’d be able to support the game more if it were on localized prices.
Also this is only from my point of view. Some others may enjoy purchasing through steam to acquire more steam points etc. or for other reasons
Yup, this would be a nice idea. Though from personal experience (I’m an accountant), dealing with foreign currencies is a bit of a pain compared to just dealing with 1 currency.
Oh, that’s a point i could never have guessed, thanks for bringing it up. They already have the base package in steam with localized prices supported, i thought it would just be as easy as 3-4 clicking
I’ve never worked with Steam so I don’t know whether they just pass the cash through after taking their cut or whether they can take their cut and convert it to a particular currency (USD, likely in EHG’s case).
Kinda, I was just referring to it being annoying having to deal with multiple currencies. When the rest of you (ie, the world) switches over to GBP (& UK GAAP), life will be much simpler. No annoying FX, no need to switch currencies, no need to update FX rates in your finance system each month & you all get to have The Immortal One on your currency!
