This is a scuffed breakdown of current Monolith System. This is not taking into consideration the incremental increase for branching out
or the bonus for having higher corruption monoliths, exaggeration for making my point
Starting at 100 corruption - 21 Timeline Stability & 44 Bonus Stability for full clear = 65 Stability per Echo
- 800 Stability per Gaze.
- 800 Stability per Gaze / 65 Stability per Echo = 13 Echos per Gaze
- 13 Echos per Gaze x 3 = 39 Echos to reach 233 corruption.
- 39 Echos x 10 Monoliths = 390 to reach 233 corruption on all 10 Monoliths.
Starting at 233 corruption - 31 Timeline Stability & 64 Bonus Stability for full clear = 95 Timeline Stability per echo.
!!This is only a .035% increase PER corruption level!!
- 800 stability per gaze
- 800 stability per gaze / 95 stability per echo = 9 echos per gaze.
- 9 echos per gaze x 3 = 27 echos to reach next corruption.
- 27 echos x 10 monoliths = 270 echos to reach next corruption on all 10 monoliths.
This means it requires roughly 660 fully cleared echos to reach past 233 corruption on all 10 monoliths starting from 100 corruption. PER character.
MY SUGGUESTION / SIDENOTES
- Increase Timeline Stability to 1% per corruption level past 100 and 1-2% for Bonus Stability
- No incremental increase as we progress through the Monolith. Every Echo Should feel rewarding. Gives a sense of pointlessness if they donβt reward the same stability if we have to branch off somewhere else.
- Set it to maximum of 3 Gaze so Players donβt over shoot corruption
- Add closer Unique Echos
- Add Prophecies and Lenses that target said Unique Echos
( more target farming )
With a 1% increase per corruption:
Starting at 100 corruption - Would stay the same but could use a buff.
Starting at 233 corruption - 49 Timeline Stability and 103 Bonus Stability
= 152 Stability per fully completed Echo.
- 800 stability per Gaze
- 800 stability per Gaze / 152 Stability per Echo = 6 Echos per Gaze.
- 6 Echos per Gaze x 3 Gaze = 18 Echos to reach next corruption.
- 18 Echos per Monolith x 10 Monoliths = 180 Echos to reach next corruption on all 10 Monoliths.
- Not taking anything else into consideration
270 Echos for the .035 increase per corruption - 180 Echos for the 1% per corruption = 90 less Echos.
With 1% increase to Timeline Stability and 2% for Bonus Stabilty per corruption level.
- Starting Zone lvl 233 Corruption - 49 Stability and 166 Bonus Stability = 215 Stability per fully completed echo .
- 800 Stability per Gaze
- 800 Stability per Gaze / 215 Stability per Echo = 4 Echos per Gaze
- 4 Echos per Gaze x 3 Gaze = 12 Echos to reach next Corruption.
- 12 Echos per Monolith x 10 Monoliths = 120 Echos to reach next corruption on all 10 Monoliths
- Not taking anything else into consideration
270 echos for the .035 increase per corruption - 120 Echos for the 1-2% per corruption = 150 less Echos.
This saves players ALOT of unnecessary Echo running and would be way more ALT friendly while still keeping almost everything the same in regards to how much corruption a player can handle. We can just get there faster + more friendly target farming capability.
βKind of a side suggestion----
Consider tieing Stability to the player and not the Monolith.
- Can target farm for items without wasting stability if we still need Blessings in other Monoliths and already reached the highest corruption we can handle in said Monolith.
- Can consider adding new features using character tied Stability
( Future proof of sort ) New Crafting??
