Hi, no idea how to show what happened since I am not sure myself.
At least I know using portals with the new monoliths is buggy when going back in. First when I completed an echo it put me in the small in between island as normal but it suddenly showed monolith on “completed echos: 1” when I used the portal back.
I assumed it was the lower level monolith instead of the one I was currently running, and my progress on the other echo was still no around 20 as normal. So the island just had the wrong monolith probably.
Now I used a portal inside a map and when I completed the map 10 minutes later it showed echos completed: 1 again. But it was the correct monolith and my monolith just lost all progress and I am not sure why.
Sorry about this! If you encounter this problem, could you please upload your log file?
Could you be more specific as to what you mean by “used the portal back”? Did you use your Town Portal inside of the Echo of a World zone? Or did you go to the Monolith Object to start a new Echo without leaving?
Hi the first time it was when I portaled from the island (Echo of a world) to town to gamble, when i came back the monolith was wrong. The second time I just used the portal in the echo to take a break.
Ah, I see. Which Timeline were you running? I think the problem here is that after returning through a town portal, Echo of a World assumes you’re doing a run for the first Timeline, Fall of the Outcasts.
If you were doing a different Timeline, you can resume that run by going to the appropriate waypoint from the Map (M key).
