Monolith quests get stuck on loading screen

I can’t progress through the monolith timelines with several characters now because after the first one, one of the 3 quests (sometimes the first, sometimes the last) gets stuck on the loading screen. I’ve seen other, slightly different, bug reports about “stuck on loading screen” but have not really seen the devs acknowledge this as a major problem (still hasn’t been fixed weeks after update, not mentioned AFAICT in known issues).

Having the same issue. Quest monolith: The Rotting Hoard. Infinite loading screen however I can hear the character moving in the background and also interacting with the echo device.
My character is offline and this started happening to me in the most recent patch. Never before.

UPDATE: This issue went away once I ran a random echo and launched the quest from the temporary echodevice safezone (with the reward chest and vendor). Perhaps quest launching is bugged from the echodevice with the waypoints.

Good call, that seems to have worked for me too. Though I just got hit by the
“server state rolled back” bug, lost a couple hours progress and a cool item. So who knows if it will stick. I think I’ll take a break from this game until a couple more patches come out and things settle down.

This just happened to me too. I was trying to load Black Sun’s quest echo: Ruins of Solarum straight from launching the game, and got a stuck loading screen, also able to hear my character moving. After exiting the game to launch again, my stability in that timeline had gone down by 50. Happened twice in a row. After going into another echo, I was able to launch the quest successfully.

Same here, Siege of Farwood.
I can hear character moving, can open menu.
