Yeah, though they do function like resists except the difference is that they are relative resists not absolute like most people have experienced in PoE or Grim Dawn.
That’s a problem with people not reading, assuming that this game treats {insert confusing thing here} the same as every other game, and potentially not even realising what information is available to them.
Yeah, that’s what i already said above, people just THINK they know how stuff works, because they have hundreds if not thousands of hours in similar games and they assume that every single game treats those things the same way.
I might sound a bit elitist here, but i really do like that LE did take a different approach and bring people to realize there are indeed other ways to handle certain mechanics. Just because Game X, Game Y and Game Z all did this the same, it doesn’t mean there is no other way.
People just need to try to approach new games and try to learn them and don’t assume they already know everything.
I just reached monolith level 100. I usually have the same dps /resis gear but for bosses just change gear to increase to 50/55% resis and glancing blow to avoid their especific damage type.
