I think it just bares mentioning that Eleventh Hour really nailed it with the visual formula for End of Time and Monolith of Fate. The lighting gradation, the color palette, the texturing, the shadows coming off some of the light sources? It looks really good. I mean, REALLY good; especially side-by-side against the aesthetic of some of the other areas in the game.
When/if you put additional visual polish on the other areas, please look at the formula whoever was working on that used and think like they did. It’s striking and makes you feel like you’re in another world and that’s exactly what you want from a videogame.
