There’s an incomplete area on the left above the writing.
That’s where your missing mobs are hiding.
It should be noted that clearing echoes isn’t optimal. You usually want to just rush to the objective as fast as possible and go to the next. Not only do you get more stability over time, you also get way more rewards.
