Almost every time I try and load into a monolith I get stuck in the loading screen. I can hear game sounds like the falcon but it never comes off the loading screen. The only way out of the game is to use task manager to force quit the game. This is completely breaking the game for me since I have completed the campaign. I can load into one or maybe two monoliths and then I am consistently stuck in loading screens and force quitting. See the attached log files, previous log files and the direct x diagnostic file.
Happens to me as well, seems to be random, sometimes triggered on first monolith map and sometimes after a few or a lotā¦
Iām Also falconer but i also have a Runemaster and it happens on both char. It still happens on last patch.
The thing is, 5-6 days ago, i had no problem whatsoever spamming Monolith all day long, so wtf?
This āinfinite monolith loading screenā is a real fun breaker, I sometimes do not want to restart game and go do something else.
Okay after a little investigation on the forum, EDIT : DO NOT WORK someone said that checking/repairing his gamefiles on steam solved the issue, i just did and will see.
EDIT : DO NOT WORK Another workaround seems to be pressing the ādelā key that is supposed to hide HUD that will hide the loading screen itself. You are then still on the platform and able to interact with the monolith again, can enter another node, tp out, and then load the previously āfailed loadedā last mission.
Iām also having the same problem. Sometimes it happens immediately on the first monolith. But I havenāt been able to do five in a row without the loading screen getting stuck. So itās been rather game breaking for me.
It seems to me, that this problem is somehow related to NVIDIA / RTX graphic cards.
Let me explain.
Two days ago I upgraded from my older RX 5700 AMD graphics card to a RTX 3060TI a friend gifted to me. Since then, I have the same bug. Before upgrading, I had no issues at all.
Interesting thing: when I play on my rog ally, which is an full amd system, I can blast monoliths for hours without problems.
There are a lot of topics related to this, but everything I tried did not work for meā¦
