Loadscreen bug: The load screen stays indefinitely while you can still cast spells and (thankfully) bring up the settings menu to exit to the main menu, thus forfeiting rewards, stability and keys.
Workarounds: The monolith echo quest load screen bug can be worked around by playing a regular echo before doing the echo quest. I haven’t found one for the dungeon yet.
This is a game breaking bug and is costing players items and progress. I would make this a high priority to fix. Not all players will respond to this proactively.
I’ve played yesterday and the game worked fine (even if it’s slower to travel between locations and open monolith). I can’t start a monolith since 0.9.2A. Like Commche, i have the “Echo Loading” and nothing happens. I have access to my skills and i can open the menu but can’t click on it, not like Commche). So i have to shutdown the game.
Same problem here, entered the Temporal Sanctum and I got stuck at the Sanctum Cloisters loading screen. Wasted 3 keys in the attempt, but more importantly cannot create Legendaries ! Cool !
Having endless loadscreen in sanctum (floor 2 loadingscreen) since runemaster relese. also it is happening, only in offline mode. online works just fine.
There is a feature in Steam if you right click on the Game name, Properties, Installed files. There is an option to verify game files - this is much quicker than reinstalling and just verifies that existing files are up to date and correct.
Personally, I do this after any update with Beta apps in Steam just to be sure that an update actually applied correctly. It frequently helps with LE - especially when you are having a bizzare issue that doesnt seem like many others are having.
@commche As vapourfire and i mentioned it, you have to verify the game files in steam. It should solve this issue. @vapourfire explained it very well. Thanks to him.
I tried that… doesn’t work. The file verification thing, that is. Still hangs on the loading screen every time I try to go to Temporal Sanctum’s second lvl.
yep same. verified files did nothing. Playing offline or online makes no diff either. lost my 4th key now.
its not a client end bug so verifying files, reinstalling, updating drivers is all total BS.
The game is broken period. I’m done till this is fixed. I was really enjoying it before my keys got gobbled up by this bug.
This game is about to blow up because some big streamers are moving over from D4 (Raxx to name one). He’ll probably be playing online, but this issue needs to be fixed asap while the game is gaining popularity.
This bug and lack of communication about it from the devs has killed the game for me right now. POE is too spreadsheety for me, and D4 is endgame anemic. So I guess its back to Dyson Sphere, Astroneer, Space Engineers and Valheim i.e. games that actually work.
