Mob Snap Targeting

Hello!

I just did the side quest called “An Ancient Hunt” which takes you to “The Ancient Forest” in the ancient era.

When fighting the dragon for the quest I noticed that any time it started an ability that was targeting something it wasn’t already facing it would snap turn to face its target.

My suggestion is to force mobs to take the time to turn to face their targets. Even if it’s a quick turn rate it would be better than the instant snap to target. This would also have the benefit of rewarding preemptive action against mechanics on the player’s part.

I don’t really have any examples of other mobs doing this, I just noticed it with the dragon.

Yip… there are a few mobs that do this (no spoilers from me)… Not sure if any decision was made to address this by the devs tho… but yes its a known “oddity” that is a little jarring when you first experience it… Thankfully you do get used to it but it probably should be looked at.
