Hello could you please consider adding a new stance to minions that allows them to no all target same enemy, unless there is only one or commanded to do so.
Ideally there would be a 3rd stance (lets call it “scatter”) scatter that would give minions the AI to target separate mobs by default.
So ill do my best to provide an example how the stance would function. By no means is this how it should roll out if idea is liked. this is just how my brain works.
- put minions in “scatter” stance
- minions will now prioritize enemies that haven’t been hit recently by another minion (not including its own hits)
2a) Scatter stance would have a condition like “prioritize full life enemies if not currently in combat/attacking” - Scatter would have additional condition “if no full health enemy is on screen and not in combat/attacking then look for high heath enemy”
- Scatter would have additional condition “if no full health enemy is on screen and not in combat/attacking then look for low heath enemy”
- Minion attack command would prioritize over scatter stance and force all minions to attack closest “threat”
The reason i want this is when i play “Horde Builds” it is very frustrating to see your 20 flame wraiths shoot 20 fireballs at one mob and first few hit and kill the mob then the rest of the 17 fireballs fly off into oblivion.
