Right now, I am playing a damage over time character which pass near monsters and they often melt out of my screen. It was the same when I played my necromancer with permanent minions before.
The thing is, since we move into monoliths quickly to go to the reward at the end, we could miss a great item that drops on the road. I wish I could, in my loot filter, add a mini-map ping for some rules. Something like what we get for a unique item (an orange beam and an icon).
In endgame, you may decide that uniques are almost no longer useful, yet you could decide that a double exalted item should be pinned on the map so you know you have to come back and pick it up.
