Mercs from Poe 1, lead me to thought

What if ye take their idea of the mechanic of loot and add it to the bosses of LE? That players would after killing of the bosses or before the battle be chosen by any loot from proposed (randomly) which they will want to get. And this is would be logical, cos LE is the most determenictic game of all arpg games :))))

That would influence the core experience seriously, which isn’t a good thing to happen.
On the other hand a similar mechanic as a added one in the future I’m absolutely for it, it’s a rather enjoyable one after all.

As for LE being the most deterministic arpg? Not even remotely, but it’s fairly decent in that regard.

I’m not sure I understand your suggestion correctly - Let me rephrase:

You want players to be able to “choose” their own loot, after defeating a boss that drops boss specific loot?
Kinda like how you can choose a Blessing after defeating a Timeline Boss?

I’m not sure how to feel about that - on the one hand, I do love detemernism and giving players agency, but on the other hand, current bosses are already balanced around the idea of you being able to easily farm them. Timeline bosses can be fought repeatedly using Glyphs of Envy already, Woven Echo Bosses can be farmed by farming the specific Woven Echo, and I’m not sure of any bosses that have a large enough pool of specific boss uniques, that this would make sense for.

Interesting idea, wonder if EHG sees this and cooks up something with it in the future.

You want to select some rare items and runes from bosses? Why?

No. In POE 1 from mercenaries ye can pick up equipment and craft currency that ye choose, after winning them. I want the same thing here, but with bosses. Everything is simple. In addition, they could go much further and let the players choose mechanics of bosses :)))
