If Merchant Tokens drop for CoF too, and the person does not want to change to merchants guild give them an option to use their Merchant Tokens for something. Something simple would be for a free 1 prohecy of any type or cost.
Do they drop, though? I’ve played quite a bit this season and I haven’t had one drop. I think they only drop when you’re MG.
Are you sure it didn’t drop on an MG character and you’re just seeing them because the stash is shared?

its bugged i think currently.
Since the latest patch they are dropping left and right for me, ive never touched MG.
I cant even see them in the keys menu or on the currency bar, so I dont know if they are even real lol

i noticed merchant keys dropping for me since 1.3.2 and i also never even considered MG
I’ve never been MG and I just had one drop right after I updated to the new patch.
Yeah, this seems like a bug that shouldn’t have been happening. So I don’t think there’s any need to find uses for it in CoF, it shouldn’t have been dropping in the first place. Let’s see how long until they fix it.
I would agree, I thought it odd when I got one and like you, don’t think we need to find a use for it. If it is a bug, I would expect a fix in the near future. If not, then the devs are already most likely planning on a use for it. But once again, I think it is a bug.

Not only it dropped to me as CoF, I play offline which makes it even funnier
