I have 50 stash tabs of items collected over the years. Just joined the Merchant Guild for the first time. Half of all those items are showing as tradeable and the others as not tradeable. What determines this? (Note: I’ve had most of them from before 1.0 so it isn’t that).
Yeah, I meant stuff that was actually equipped on a character pre-1.0. I say that because on my old characters all currently geared items seem to be listed an “cannot trade”.
EDIT: Maybe it still kinda works that way? You could try picking a char, equip a tradeable item, join MG and see if it changes.
I have tried all sorts of experiments now and I simply cannot spot the pattern that would explain this. Example, I had about a dozen Mad Alchemist Ladles in my bank with good rolls. I am fairly sure I have never equipped a single one of them, yet half are untradeable and half are tradeable.
I have a half dozen spare Squirrel Helms too, again I’m pretty sure I have never once equipped any of them (was saving them to give away to anyone who wanted them), and not one of them is tradeable.
