i noticed something that feels similar to memory leaks after running monoliths over and over. After some time the performance takes a massive hit and the game runs at about 40-60 fps all of a sudden. Running a RTX4090 and before that it is smooth capped at 150fps and runs fine. After a game restart it works normal again, for a while before it starts lagging again. Checked the task manager but there was nothing out of the ordinary, so i wonder if there is some kind of problem, also noticed other people posted similiar things on discord regarding this problem with running multiple Monoliths.
Memory leak issue has been going on since pre 1.0. And I thought they have finally resolved the issue on release.
But I can confirm. All I’m doing was just monoliths and somehow RAM usage went this much. Picking up shards from affix shrines lags so much to the point it freezes up my game and almost died a few times because of it. Even just opening up any in-game menus drop the FPS as low as 15 for me. And around like 7-20 FPS during combat.
I have the same issue on Steam Deck OLED. After 5-10 min of play in monolith area the game is crashing. I had to reset steam deck manual… Any solution?
