During Majasa fight, entangling roots will refuse to proc randomly on Maul. Proc is typically not an issue in the rest of the game, though rare non-procs have occurred prior.

Thanks for posting this… I am sure the devs will check it when they see it.
Quick observation and question: there are a few debug logs that refer to a rendering issue in the player.log that isnt a “normal” debug message and I also see a few roots in the video you posted (at the end) so it looks like perhaps the roots are proc’ing but not actually showing properly in that fight. Have you attempted to use Steam to verify the game files since experiencing this issue? Typically things like this can be caused by install problems so its worth double checking.
