I noticed the Matron of Blades (a.k.a. Cobra Ladies) don’t stop casting spells when frozen. I havent tested this with other CC abilities, but on my druid werebear, when I freeze Matrons they continue casting their sand tornado spell. That spell is super dangerous, and so it would be great if freezing them as they cast the spell would at least pause the casting, or prevent it. I noticed this in 200 corruption monos, The Stolen Lance. It seems that other enemies will pause their cast when frozen.

I think you are talking about Diamond Matron and their incandescent beam. As you can see in the link above it’s not a channeled skill. The cast time is 0.25, charge up for 1.5 sec and last for 4 sec. So unless you manage to freeze them during those 0.25 sec you won’t interrupt the spell.
