I have wasted 10 of the Shattering Charms so far on items that will not be destroyed/consumed in order to give me crafting items. Its been multiple items so far that do in fact have affixes that can be stripped, but I use the shattering charm, the animation happens, no materials are populated, the charm is consumed, but the item remains. I have lost something close to 20,000g which is over half of my earned gold so far in the game. Its bad enough your game is dogshit with dropping upgrade weapons, and how hard it can be to get an item to be able to be upgraded more than once. Truth be told its unfortunate that I cant refund this game because I’ve already played past two hours. Simple mechanics like Shattering Charm should just work. Please fix this. Either
A) Give me an amount of gold to refund my time/effort/energy/having to log into your sketchy assed forums in order to file a complaint
or
B) Deposit at least 10 shattering charms into my character account
You cant have a game breaking bug like this that completely ruins one of the very few unique things about your game. You have to destroy items in order to get the materials to have a very slim chance of upgrading existing equipment. Without upgraded equipment the game takes longer and longer and is more of a chore. If I cant even destroy items… i’d be better off just gambling for items.
I’m not even going to touch on Unique items, where my friend has been playing the multiplayer beta upgrade with a fresh online character - same as me. He’s gotten 20-25 uniques, where I’ve gotten less than 10. On top of that your unique items, at least so far as I can tell, suck absolute ass.
Fix your damned game. I have a lot of people I’m friends with in the Diablo community who are curious about this game. I know if this bug happens to me, it definitley happens to a lot of other people who wont bother to go the extra effort of trying to report it/get you to fix your bullshit game/help improve the quality of life. You cant hide behind “Its only Alpha/Beta Access” when the game has been there for so long, and you continue to accept money in transactions for it. If this was a Demo, that would be much different.
I’m very frustrated, and would appreciate yall helping me out. Forgive my southern language, but I swear for emphasis. I need help, and it is beyond disgusting for me to feel like the only way I can understand/advance in a timely fashion in your game is if I watch 30-50 hours of youtube to understand how the hell the synergies work.
