They show up way too often in the MOF, and have way too many hit points imho. They are also very dull . They kill your minions and then you have to run around rezzing and trying to get rid of the mobs. Very time consuming and not at all fun. These things need a nerf big time even if just in health. It will literally make one instance last 5 times as long. Makes me want to dump and start climbing again. That should not be happening.
I have to agree, reducing their HP by 30% would be fine imo.
i don’t agree with just lowering their HP, their existence serve no sensible purpose is what the problem is.
the problem is: they pose no threat to u, they r simply very very meaty, unlike that oreo harupus angel dude, who does some decent damage and is kinda fun to fight against, he even screams when he dies. why not spawn like 8 or 12 of him and count that as 2 waves?
why not include all the cool bosses like the spymaster, like the whatever of oblivion, new endgame randomly generated creeps with all sorts of threatening skills etc… and let them count as 2~5 waves
the beetle does test builds, if u find them extremely hard to kill, ur build is a bad build, and this is something u should try to fix!
but, even if we could kill the beetles real fast with a well-built dot/crit/percent damage/whatever build, there is simply no fun in fighting these things, chill+slow can make them basicly freeze in their tracks, at wave 200~400, it takes me about 5~15secs (i’m not too sure) to kill any number of them (with revives) ONCE I FIND THEM, but it is still very annoying to have to walk around and find these beetles that r slowly crawling at u when everything else is already wiped out
BTW, there is not 1 single boss that makes u wanna slam ur keyboard or go read a strategy on how to fight it, why not add some really cool+challenging bosses??
