with 1 point of Concentraion node in Marksman, I got 15% inc dmg in every type.
so poison dmg should be 26 but my character page shows that it’s 23.
As I tested, 15% inc poison dmg afflict well but 15% inc dot dmg doesn’t
with 10 points of Prolonged demise node, I should got +70% while weilding a bow, but when I equip a bow that has no inc dmg, I got 135% rather than 85%
But in poison damage calculation ignore that +50%
BUT, it is unclear whether this is a typographical error or whether this is actually applied.
I find that inc dmg with bow affix on helmet, also doesn’t afflict to poison dmg calculation too.
The base damage of poison is 20, so a 15% increase would take it up to 23 on the character screen.
When I put 2 points in Prolonged Demise (+14%) and equipped a bow, the poison damage increased to 33 (20 x (1 + 50% + 14%) = 32.8, rounded up to 33 for display purposes) as it should given that the Marksman mastery bonus includes +50% increased damage while wielding a bow. Putting 10 points in the node increased the damage to 44 as it should (20 x (1 + 50% + 70%)).
Equipping a helm with +34% increased damage while wielding a bow (in addition to the +70% from 10 points in Putrid Demise) took the damage up to 51 as it should (20 x (1+ 50% + 70% + 34%)).
Ok, I understand it’s not a bug.
But in character page, I see 15% on both poison and dot. It makes me confused by wrong sum of inc dmg.
Frankly, yes. almost player never mind that real calculation but may compare two or more items while seeing their character page aren’t they?
Player can be misunderstood ‘inc dmg with bow 15%’ is better then ‘poison dmg 20%’
What do you think?
