I played with a zero mana cost skill and had fun but then it changed to 1 hit per cast instead of mana per hit in the passive tree (Rogue).
There are now two passives that give mana but idk why after about 30 mins of playing they were both nerfed to 1 tick per cast instead of each mob hit.
I was using the meteor belt with my build and I can still spawn them kind’ve often just not often enough considering the meteor keeps striking old target zones instead of mobs that are alive. It happens as an after cast sometimes.
Please let me know what happens with this, since it enables proc builds that are rather enjoyable.
It would help immensely if you told us which 0 cost ability you’re using, how you’re speccing it and which passives in particular you’re talking about.
The Sapping Strikes passive talent in the base passive tree states that you regain health and mana every time you use an ability that costs 0 mana and hit an enemy. It does not return mana per mob hit, only once per use of your ability.
I’m using sapping strikes and mana warp with dual wielding Jelkhor’s.

Then I don’t know what the issue is. If you have maxed out both Sapping Strikes and Mana Warp then you should be getting 23 mana each time you use Detonating Arrow. Are you not getting any mana back?
Yes I’m getting mana back. Looks like I’ll just have to stack Regen on gear too.
