Manifest Armor/ Whirlwind strike

Hello fellow nerds and EHG.

I recently started a Forge Guard for MANIFEST ARMOR thinking “WOW HE HAS THE SAME GEAR I DO”, But here’s the thing. His whirlwind is utter garbage. It whiffs a lot, sometimes singles one enemy to hit it with, and even in the best of cases it only hits like 120 on my lvl 33, and his auto attack crits for 1k.

Is this a bug? This is so bad I might need to spec out, which is a shame I get more DPS without wasting the skill point on it.

TBH I would rather it work as a lesser forge guard spin. He can carge in, use it spin for a minute, then go to town swinging…

Can it be scaled to be half decent? Thank you all for the responses.

Can we get some fixes to Whirlwind Strike? It whiffs CONSTANTLY! it should hit multiple times with the damage it does, which is really poor compared to Manifest Armour auto attack when it does hit. Hell, the auto attack already has about 120* AoE arc, rendering the spin pointless. And does it even scale? I’m guessing it has a 25% damage effectiveness compared to the auto attack at 100%.

Put me in the game wielding a pool noodle and i’ll hit harder with Whirlwind strike than he does.

unfortunately yes. all of manifest armors “skills” are bad.

The only good one is his spin move that you can spec in shield throw. everything else is not worth using.

pretty much shield throw is how you make MA work, without it, you can try a retaliation set up. Thats pretty much it.

Noob trap then? Cause looking at Forge breath, it sounds utter garbage too.

EHG, why would I waste skillpoints on a skill that makes MA worse? Did you forget to add a 0 to the end of the damage number? Like c’mon, why even design the skill at this point?

If you think of him as a tank, then the charge is useful so he engages with stuff and performs his role.

For damage I buff the forged weapons.
