Hi, I have a big Problem with this Game, even with over 300h since 0.9. I know for Most people its normal to Play such Games with Mouse, but IT feels so unreal for me. I would Love to move around with Keyboard and use Mouse for aiming etc…I hope my Wish isnt to much to ask and shouldnt be so hard to bring it to the Game.
You can set the “move” key in your bindings. It’s how I play the game, I rarely left click to move. I have mine set as the space bar and you just use the mouse to point yourself in a direction.
@Roids is probably referring to twin-stick shooter controlls where you use left stick / WASD for directional movement input and the right stick / mouse for aiming. This is fundamentally different from the current system.
U can use Controller for movement, why Not wasd etc., let Just Play everyone like he prefere. For some its stupid, for some its great, shouldnt bother anyone. I played whole life MMORPGs, 20years have burned this playstyle in my brain, it would Just feel great to move with Keyboard and for me Just like IT should be played.
I figured that’s what @Roids was asking for but since it’s not in the game I thought the move key might be a compromise, I personally find mouse click movement imprecise and maybe if they tried a key instead they would find it more agreeable since wasd movement isn’t in the game.
That is a good question. It seems like the engine should be able to accept wasd if it can take the thumbstick input, but I’m not a programmer so I don’t know. But I agree people should be given the option to set up their controls however they want as long as it’s reasonable to implement
Because it requires resources to implement that control scheme, just like the controller support did take quite a while to implement and it’s still a long way to go in order to improve it. I guess, in case of KB+M they decided to go for the current controls system because it is the most common among ARPGs and most players are accustomed to it.
Yeah, thats what the Suggestion Forum is for, asking devs for something people would like to have.
