Make blessings items?

I see a lot of complaints about blessing grind.

What if blessings were items we could keep in our inventory/stash.

That would be a good way to allow us to store and re-equip old blessings at their existing values.

Additionally, I think it would be good if you could move them to other characters. Maybe there could be some restrictions, but alts are currently really held back from diving deep into monolith despite being able to inherit good gear.

I think blessings as items make some sense and several annoyances in the current monolith system. Thoughts?

I’ve created a similar topic recently, that got less attention that I would’ve expected. This is what I suggest in that regard:

How I think the system should work:

• You unlock blessings by using/choosing them. So it’s not like you unlock all the blessings that are available as a reward, but only the one that you choose to use.
• If you redo the timeline and replace your current blessing, the old blessing doesn’t vanish but will be stored with its exact rolls.
• If you want to get higher rolls on a blessing you have to kill the boss, get offered the blessing with better rolls and choose to ‘replace’ your current blessing with it in order to unlock the higher roll

So much to unlocking. But how would we swap blessings?

• My favourite solution would be to allow instant swapping. This could also be gated behind a fee like gold cost or requiring a token that you get by killing that coresponding timeline boss. Like you killed Rayeh 4 times, you can swap blessings 4 times. Wanna swap a 5th time requires you to kill him again. But allow to save up these tokens
• Alternatively we could be able to not only choose between the new blesdings a bosskill offers but also expand that choice with all the blessings of that timeline we previously used on this character.

I like that idea.

The blessings are already items, they just don’t drop and are instead forced into separate and unique equip slots of your inventory. I assume it would be fairly easy to change that system to make them droppable and manually equippable instead.

most obvious reasons to not have this: Shortening of games life cycle. You knpow how many hundrets of hoursthis would take away for players who want to minmax their stuff? Everyone and their grandma would realise there is no meaningfull content if you shorten the grind for wahtever.

Don’t get me wrong I think the belssing roll ranges are stupid and far to big but then again… what do you do when you get an item upgrade once ever 3-7 days and a blessing update once in a blue moon, yeah you grind more. What would you do if you are minmaxed in a week? Yeah right you’ll maybe play alts or twink or you would say “That’s it? That’s what i payed money for? It was done in three days let’s write a negative review on steam!”. just some made up extremes but well you might know what i mean and why stuff most likely wont change.
