What i miss in this game is different types of mobs.
I feel the rush to just push to the objectives so i can play endgame which feels like a bad experience. I have a feeling iam fighting the same scorpion minions etc over and over again but just in different areas.
Beside that i want to suggest to reward the player for exploring the map. Make more interesting mobs at those sides and higher the chance of getting better drops for example.
Another option would be to add more chests in those areas that doesnt lead directly to the objectives.
I love exploring and i tried it a lot in your game aswell as in Path of exile (more then 2000 game time in there). It is not rewarding however so people stop doing it…
Why having a big area if it is useless space anyway. I get it it feels bigger but it would be great if the areas would be more engaging and/or suprising while exploring.
At the moment iam leveling my second character after starting this game a week ago (my first is only level 33).
Iam already really bored at leveling because nothing special is happening expect for fighting the bosses so i feel like i should just rush through the story.
