Main Quest unable to be completed - The Immortal Empire

Basically resurrecting almost a year old thread. I have just bought this game today, and encountered this bug:

Did the same thing as the guy in that thread. Logged off before going into the rift. After logging back in, the rift is gone. Tried restarting the game, did not work.

My character is completely stuck, unable to progress any further in the main campaign.

OK. Not a bug. For those like me, if the port is not spawning, you NEED TO TALK TO THAT NPC. All the way, he opens it once you exhaust all quest option dialogue. :slight_smile:
