This should be correct as, relative to the increase the skill usually provides, the increase in area is reduced in the case the skill is channeled as a result of other nodes in the tree. Thus the sentence correctly describes the effect.
Ah, thanks for the explanation. I took it to mean that if the ability is channeled, the area is increased by a further +30%. But if I understand you correctly, it is instead increased by +30%? If this is the case, then this is not a bug and can be closed
