Maelstrom node Power of the Storm not working

Maelstrom node Power of the Storm doesn’t seem to be casting any lightning. Upon removing the node and reaching the minimum requirement for Power of the Storm to proc, Maelstrom is still doing the same amount of damage, so by doing this verifies that Power of the Storm is not working properly
