Maehlin’s Hubris: bleed chance is converted to ignite chance
Spirit Plague: you are also inflicted with bleed when you cast spirit plague
Bleeding Heart: you are inflicted with bleed when you cast a spell
Diothaen’s Bloody Nib: you are inflicted with bleed when you hit an enemy with Shatter Strike
Maehlin’s hubris converts the self bleed from spirit plague but not the self bleed from Bleeding heart and Diothean’s.
So which part is bugged? is Maehlin not supposed to convert spirit plague or is bleed from Bleeding heart and Diothean’s supposed to get converted but is bugged?
There are pretty strong builds based around the Maehlin’s/Spirit Plague interaction so why are the other sources not working. I think this should be fixed to enable more sources of self ignite for items like Pyre of Affliction, Immolator’s Oblation and Soulfire.
Exp tomes getting doubled by CoF gets ‘fixed’ mid cycle as soon as it gets introduced, stuff like this or non-working nodes will make it past multiple patches…
