TLDR I can’t get ANY Rune Prison echos, and I can’t get enough Ladles to participate in corruption mechanic. Feels bad man.
This being the season of Spellblade (for me), I’ve been looking for spoons to craft for the more damage multiplier for procs and the passive flat damage spellblade receives. Mad Alchemist Ladle only dropping from exiled mages means it does not benefit from wand echo rewards or imprinting to find LP1+ or generic wand prophecies. Target farming instead involves speccing them in weaver tree and running tombs, which can wind up being quite annoying backtracking through a completed tomb to find the rune prison spawn, or imprinting the Rune Prison Complex for a feel good monolith proc for 5 chances at dropping it. However, Rune Prison Complex cannot be bought or rerolled into in the Cemetery of Reweaving, does not seem to be eligible in woven echo mono rewards, and only drops, at an incredibly low 1% rate, from Exiled Mages. I just need ONE to imprint and make it a bearable farm! This is compounded by the issue of Rune Prison spawns not having a global message upon entering monos like Rift Beast Portals or Omen Windows, so I’m sure I’ve missed hundreds of opportunities at dropping either by not full clearing monos on my way to 300 corruption.
Please consider:
- Granting Rune Prisons in Tombs and Cemeteries a waypoint as Tombs and Fateweavers have
- Granting Rune Prisons a global announcement like Rift Beasts and Omen Windows have
- Making a new and purchaseable common echo similar to the Kill Exiled Mages mono map.
- Making Rune Prison Complex echo buyable or reweaveable, making memory amber farming a viable target farm
- Making Rune Prison Complex drop more often or added to another drop table
It feels really bad to have to detour HARD into tombs on the push to 300c, not to mention backtracking through empty tombs, just to get ONE echo to imprint, UGH.
It feels really bad to be in a season about gambling corruption to get cool new outcomes and have that opportunity feel completely of reach for a fundamental build item. I’ve luckily gotten one Ladle, but corrupting them feels totally out of reach, whereas i have like 30 LP1 Jasper’s staves to roll something cool for my Flamereave build.
