i am lvling atm a druid following this guide: Druid Leveling Guide
Actually its working in human form very well. I am atm at lvl 34 and with tornado its very easy to get threw the campaign. But in the Werbear Form i get so much dmg that i can not play with it and i am asking you if u maybe can give me some advice why its not working. Ofc my gear is just selffound and not optimal, I am using atm gear with +spelldmg as much as i can get or alternative with lightning dmg. If i get some elementresists i take them too. Please help me:)
You can upload your toon here https://www.lastepochtools.com/ so people can see what is going on. Taking to much dmg has two reasons normaly. Either you donât kill fast enough and your dmg is low in bear form vs human form or your defences are crap. Worst case you missunderstood something and you use casting gear for example that isnât helpfull in bear form at all.

Go to the build planner on the link Macknum provided and hit import. It has instructions on how to load your offline save.
Then hit share, copy the link and paste it here.
One of the first things I see without looking at hardly anything is that you have practically no physical resist at all. At this stage in the game it should take very high precedence.
As for Gloves, grab some Mail Bracers or Outcast Gloves as they will probably do you better than Avarice at this time.
Those two things should help your survivability a bit.
Itâs a melee weapon. If you hit enemies with a melee skill you do the melee dmg part of the weapon and the melee lightning dmg part of the weapon and you have a chance to shock enemies. You leech health back from all lightning dmg you do. You need to look into your skills if they offer some kind of lightning dmg and if so a part of all the lightning dmg is recovered.
While hitting stuff you get stacks from the unique effect of the weapon that casts a storm bolt sooner or later depending on the stacks you build up.
For your toon as said: Your phys resi is low, your armor is low, you wear some outdated lvl 6 gear for⌠reasons? The gloves donât do much for you. You can look out for +%hp or +hp idols they help a lot. Do you run into mana issues that eraly on or is there a reason why you waste so much affixes on mana? You have a lot of + spell dmg but Werebear mostly (or even only?) scales from melee dmg. So tere are some misconceptions
if you are ingame and you hold alt and mouse over skills you see what they scale from. If you hold âzâ in the planer you can mouseover skills and effects there to see what they scale with. If you look at the scaling tags you see what you need to invest to. For example you converted maul and rampage to lightning skills but they are still no spells but melee skills mostly. If you look at the tags you might get a good idea of what you need.
Then again I havenât touched Druid quite a while and other might give you better insights . I hope this helps and is kind of understandable.
thx for your help. As i understand in the guide i need mostly spelldmg cause it works with lightdmg also on the bear, maybe the guide is bad or wrong? i am confused now. The guide skills in the wearbear tree skills with lightning what works with spelldmg
Ok, so according to the build at this time you should be using this gear:
Chitin Carapace
Brigandine Boots
I would recommend using those as they will help your survivability with the higher armor. Use your Loot Filter to highlight when those drop, and at that level the crafting should be pretty easy to get what you need on them.
