Hey travellers,
do you know if there’s any (albeit small) chance, that Wings of Argentus drop with at least LP1? Asking, because I saw on lastepochtools.com, that the effective LP of WoA is Level 125 and I didn’t find further information about the calculation of this Level-threshold.
If there’s any chance, I’ll go for the grind huah!

Let is know in 5 years if you got one…
We don’t know how the formula for LP works exactly, hence we as players will never be able to say for sure how likely it is.
But it is among the items with the lowest chance for LP. (Together with Ravenous Void), followed by a couple of items, which have a slightly higher chance, but are still extremely unlikely to get LP on.
From my very limited sample size of getting a couple of those uniques which have effective level for LP of 100(like Horns Of Uhkeiros, Omnis, Stymied Fate and Aurora’s Time Glass), I would say these have chances of “10 to 15 in 1” chance to get 1LP, which is just a wild guess, because I only found 4 of them with 1 LP with a sample size of ~30.
This all assumed they all have the exact same chance of get LP, which we don’t know for sure.
But Symied Fate is relatively easy to farm, so maybe we could make an experiment with that specific items.
So I Ravenous Void and Wings Of Argentus have a even lower chance than that, so I would prepare yourself to try and farm at least 1 or 2 dozen ones, which is a monumental task, just because of their initial drops chances.
Something like Stymied Fate and Omnis is not only easier to get LP on, but those Items are waaaaaay easier to farm and actually drop way more frrequently relatively speaking.
In the end Wings Of Argentus is one of those Items, that you want to Legendary farm as the very last step of any characters item progression, because while farming that you could probably get way better upgrades in other slots.

you probably need like 1000 corruption in empowered monoliths to have a decent chance at one with LP on it. That would be my guesstimation since corruption brings the item rarity up a bunch at that level. I’ve only managed to get a regular WoA to drop thus far from my Sentinel Warpath Palaldin from empowered monolith boss drop. (working on getting 2nd toon to lvl 100 & empowered monos atm). Here’s a nice tool to use for monolith farming;
p.s. it can only drop from The Stolen Lance Boss on Empowered Monoliths according to this site.
Corruption does not have any direct impact on LP.
Only a higher area lvl does increase your chances for LP directlty.
Corruption (and thus %inc. item rarity) does lead to more random drops, which indirectly increase your chances of getting uniques with LP.
For rare boss items like Wings Of Argentus, % inc. Item Rarity also increase your chances to drop it, which then again indirectly increases your chance.
So when farming those MoF and Shade Boss Uniques, try and get as many %inc. Item Rarity as possible, with Modifiers, that you can still handle.
