Got my Warlock to lvl 28 then logged out, now my character at select is lvl 1 again, when i log in I am back at the start of the game 
Same thing just happened to me. Played for 2 hours on my Steam Deck. Battery was running low so I quit to desktop. Moved over to PC to continue playing, all progression had been lost.
