I love the Omen fights, but the loot ruins the game for me. Trying to play Self-Found, you can get items with immense increased damage or defenses in the first half of the game. I have a similar problem with Nemesis, another mechanic I love.
If loot rewards scaled by the players level to prevent game-breaking items from dropping too early, I would enjoy that much more. Low-level Nemesis encounters should only upgrade gear by one or two affix levels or provide more Forging Potential. Omens could be ‘locked in ice’ (or glass) for you to trigger if you feel ready, engaging you with a single monster similar to the solo Omens in the late-game echoes. Larger Omen fights could then be reserved for the Monolith. Corrupting items on a low level character would give low tier bonuses, but if you wanted to make leveling gear you could break the game as much as you wanted to on a high level character.
Primal Hunts are fun, but entering the cave repeatedly feels too repetitive. If the portal released a beast with two modifiers the first time you interacted with it, the process would be much faster. Portals could also show text (A warning) describing the modifiers you’ll face when you put your mouse pointer over it. Additionally, for the next big patch, adding another cave maze to explore would be amazing.
Tombs and Cemeteries are my favorite mechanics, but after running hundreds of them, I’d love more variation—perhaps new enemy types or layouts in future updates.
In short: Getting GIGA loot early ruins the game for me, and I would love to see old mechanics expanded in the future**:)**
